empower Spokane area businesses to provide the best disability-friendly customer service.
Why are we doing this?
- We want all Spokane area employees in retail, hospitality, and other service industries to feel confident and comfortable when interacting with customers that have disabilities.
- You might be surprised at the number of local people with disabilities (tens of thousands, really) who live, work, learn, worship, play, shop and dine in our area. They want to spend their money here — at your business.
- Disability-friendly customer service is a “win-win” for customers, visitors, business, public services, and our entire community.
- We want you and your employees to leave with the nuts & bolts about disability-aware etiquette, respectful language, and customer service tips — from local experts who really know their stuff.
This event is FREE. We’ll even bring the snacks!But we do need you to RSVP so we know how many handouts to bring and how much coffee to make.
