Walk Like a Penguin!

Normally, we walk with our weight split mid-stride. Walking this way on ice forces each leg to support the body at an angle and could result in a nasty fall. So when things get cold and icy, lean forward to keep your center of gravity over your front leg. Keep your toes all pointed out. Keep you knees slightly bent and loose. Keep your hands outside of your pockets, and take short steps –  think of yourself as a penguin and waddle on!
