Durable Medical Equipment Exchange

DAC NW provides durable medical goods like walkers, canes, wheelchairs, bath benches and more at no charge. It works like a lending library. People on low or fixed income, people with temporary disabilities that don’t qualify for Medicaid coverage, can “borrow” a piece of assistive technology that can help them be more independent. Donations of equipment in good condition are welcome. But it can be expensive to maintain, clean, and operate the equipment library, so your cash donation can help make it possible to provide a needed piece of equipment to someone who needs it.
