Kaylena Townsend has lived with anxiety for as long as she can remember. From first-hand experience she learned the most impactual way to help is to have compassion and intentionality. Her experience working with people with memory impairments and people with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities brings a fresh perspective to DAC NW. She’s your go-to for youth transition and helping you have the confidence to stand up for yourself. She knows that advocating for others and assisting them to overcome barriers gives ongoing purpose to the barriers she has overcome and the challenges she has faced. “Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better – do better.” ~ Maya Angelou
