Jeff Riechmann received the Tom McTevia Award on behalf of Courageous Kids Climbing in Spokane, Washington on Saturday, July 29. The award, which is presented annually by the Disability Action Center, recognizes community members for removing barriers for people with disabilities in memory of community activist and outdoor recreation aficionado, Tom McTevia. Courageous Kids Climbing was recognized for coordinating rock wall climbing and ice-skating opportunities for people with special needs in eastern Washington and northern Idaho.
