Spokane – Youth

Striving for Our Best

The newest location for the Disability Action Center NW is the Spokane Youth Office. It Focuses on assisting youth and young adults (ages 14-24) with disabilities find and connect with local resources to assist in transitioning towards adulthood. As an organization run by people with disabilities for people with disabilities, DAC provides peer counseling, support and mentoring. The best advice often comes from those who have already experienced it. At DAC we believe that everyone has the right to access their community as independently as they wish and we are here to assist in reaching that independence.  DAC can assist you in making a plan, setting goals, learn independent living skills, and community involvement. Each plan is individualized for you based directly off of what YOU want.
