Climbing on Stuff – Race Cars!
Courageous Kids Climbing is back with another Climbing on Stuff with race cars at the Post Falls Speedway. Kids of all ages with visual impairments are invited to explore several race cars at the track. Please fill out the reservation form below.
The day starts at 11:00 am when we will escort a dozen kids who are blind or visually impaired through the pits to look at race cars. The plan is to start the event off with the kids holding various sizes of dis-cast replica race cars to assist them in developing an image of a race car.
The first twelve kids to make a reservation for the event will receive a 1/64th scale die-cast replica of one of NASCAR star Ryan Newman’s cars!
The kids will then walk through the pits, stopping at various cars. At the cars, the kids will get to touch everything on the race car, including the tires and the engine! Drivers will be available to talk to the kids about racing and let them check out the gear that the drivers wear when driving their car.
We will provide the kids with Courageous Kids Climbing decals that with the driver’s permission, they can place on the race car!
Reservations are required and can be made by emailing courageouskidsclimbing@gmail.com.
