DAC NW hosted it’s 3rd annual Disability Pride event called Building Bridges in Riverfront Park on the 35th anniversary of the ADA.
Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown read a proclamation for the Americans with Disabilities Act Awareness Day. Live entertainment, over 25 different vendors, Kids Zone, and free food and t-shirts rounded out the event.
The crowd was pretty steady throughout the day and many people with disabilities showed up to celebrate with us. See you all next year!
