DAC NW Launches Activity Club

DAC NW is hosting a new craft club called the DACtivity Club. Each month people with disabilities can get together and learn a new craft and complete something to take home. The first meeting we will make cute perler bead designs. You can bring your own pattern (there are many online) or use one of ours. All supplies will be provided and we will have snacks too!

The first session will be held September 25th starting at 6:00 pm in the DAC NW Moscow Office, 505 N Main St. It will be held regularly on the fourth Thursday of every month. A different craft will be featured at each one. DAC welcomes participants to lead a class on their favorite hobby and share their expertise. Classes will include painting, jewelry making, fiber arts, stamping, and more. DAC can provide adaptive tools or alter the craft to include pre-stamped images, for example, to make the craft more accessible even for those with limited hand movement.

This hobby group is an all-ages, judgement-free activity group for those with disabilities in our community. Our goal is to build friendship and connections, to learn new skills, and enjoy a fun activity together. Those with mental health disabilities are welcome!

You can come to one or all of the monthly events.
