HOLDING A ZIPLOC BAG OPEN FOR FILLING

If you have difficulty holding a bag open for filling this is a cheap trick for you. A jar lifter, used to remove hot jars when canning, can be positioned upside down on your counter with a ziplock folded over it. It’s nice and stable and allows you to fill it with whatever you wish.

HOW TO PEEL A BANANA WITH ONE HAND

A trick for people with limb loss or limb difference to overcome everyday challenges. Pinch the banana on the non-stem end. Bend and break it free from one side. Grab hold of the banana stem side down and use your thumb to pull down the peel, one section at a time.
