News from BluePath – Mapathons put Accessible Businesses on BluePath

If your group is looking for a fun activity, you can host your own Mapathon. These activities allow more accessible businesses to be loaded to BluePath, making it an asset in your local community.

BluePath recently held one in Boise with employees from Hewlett Packard and mapped The Village at Meridian area. A beautiful upscale shopping area with fountains, playgrounds, restaurants, and more. Many businesses are prepped and ready to serve people with disabilities.

It’s easy to host your own Mapathon. Gather a group of people, and we can set up a training via zoom to learn how to use the Quick Look Survey and load businesses. You can be pretty noticeable with our yardsticks or just do it low key. It takes about 10 minutes per business, and we recommend stopping for a snack together at the end! If you want to organize one email us at pathfinder@blue-path.org and we can help facilitate it.

By getting more businesses listed, the site becomes more useful to people with disabilities!
