HEALTH FAIRS FOR ALL OF US

DAC NW will be hosting two health fairs, one in Pullman, Washington and one in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to feature the All of Us campaign coming to our area.

You can get all kinds of health and fitness information, fun games for the whole family, plus other resources for your area that you may need.

The All of Us Research Program, led by the National Institute of Health, is building one of the nation’s largest biomedical data resources. The Mayo clinic will collect and store the health data of diverse populations across the United States.

That means that registered researchers can access the data and tools to conduct a wide variety of studies that may help improve our understanding of human health and how your genetics, where you live, and your lifestyle may affect that.

They will bring a fun, interactive station to help you learn about research, what ‘precision medicine’ is all about, and include those who have been historically unrepresented in biomedical research.

We round out these events with a fun selection of community partners and information about what they can do for you.

These events are FREE and open to the public. We encourage BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and People with Disabilities to attend.

HEALTH FAIR for ALL of US – September 4th, at Health Motivate, 805 Clearwater Drive in Pullman, Washington, 12 noon to 6:30 pm.

HOUSING RESOURCE FAIR– September 6th in McKuen Park in Coeur d’Alene Idaho, 9am – 2pm
