Disability Action Center NW

Tools for Life 2024 will be on March 4 and 5, 2024 in Idaho Falls. This year, the Fair will be at a different location than the hotel. Please plan accordingly as the two locations are three miles apart: Event venue will be Mountain America Center Hotel for those staying overnight there is a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn and Suites. When you register a student, additional information will be requested. This includes a student state ID number. Providing this information allows us to access federal funding through Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, which helps us pay for Tools for Life.

If students are current VR clients, each student will need to meet with their VR counselor to add this service to their Individual Plan for Employment prior to the conference.

All Tools for Life student participants (including secondary transition program members) must have a supervising adult with them at all times. All educators or adults supporting students at the Fair must be registered. A maximum of 10 students per one adult is required.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days. Payments are accepted online. A payment link will be provided after you submit your registration form. Student payments can be made through the University of Idaho Marketplace.

Parents, please note that iPul may be able to cover the cost of your registration fee.

Students will learn a variety of skills to ready them for the next stage of their life.
