Right now, Idaho’s Centers for Independent Living (CILs), the Idaho State Independent Living Council (SILC), and the Idaho Commission for Blind and Visually Impaired (ICBVI) are creating the next State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL)—and they need to hear from you.
This plan shapes how we work to improve access to housing, transportation, education, jobs, and community inclusion for people with disabilities across Idaho. It guides the advocacy, services, and funding that support independent living—and if youth voices aren’t part of it, your needs and ideas might get left out.
