Crystal Vafiades has been hard of hearing for most of her life. She knows how assistive technology, like hearing aids, can keep you connected in the community.  As our newest Veteran Care Coordinator, she works directly with the veteran to help them budget, plan, and direct their own care in their own home. Helping others to express these needs to live their life independently has created value in her life. When she’s not working at Disability Action Center NW,  you can find her in her garden, in her Yoga room, or spending time with her family.  “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
