Melissa Painter understands the frustrations of living with multiple disabilities: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, depression and PTSD.  She has experienced it for over 10 years. She has worked with DAC for over a decade as a 1^st Choice PAS Program Coordinator in Lewiston, helping people stay in their homes as long as they can.  Without in home assistance, people are faced with living in nursing homes, assisted care facilities or other institutional settings. Melissa offers that In Home Support, enjoys working with the elderly and people with disabilities and has done so her entire adult life. Melissa has realized that everyone is a work in progress, she included, and describes herself as  “an imperfect process”.
