Yvonne Parkinson has dealt with disability issues for years with her children and has not allowed their disabilities to define who they are. She has worked at DAC since 2013 as the 1st Choice Personal Assistant Coordinator and strives to promote self-sufficiency and independence among the disability community by providing the necessary tools and independent living skills. Whether by baby steps or leaps, it doesn’t matter how they get there as long as they are going in the right direction. Yvonne loves to problem solve, organize, and help make things less complicated.
