Miriam Hertz, has lived with a stutter for over 50 years. This prompted her to work in the disability field for the last 27 years. She has always wanted to work for a Center for Independent Living and is excited to be starting at DAC NW! As an Independent Living Specialist, she is the go to person for peer support, independent living skills and ADA requirements. Passionate about ethical responsibility, she has a unique perspective on civil and disability rights. And when all else fails, â€œIf you stay in the bathtub long enough, someone else will make dinner!â€
