Karl Johanson

Karl M. Johanson, DAC’s Treasurer, has dealt with hearing loss for the past 15 years. A long time advocate for equality and opportunity, he has been working with DAC since 1984. Karl is experienced with ADA related issues in transportation and served on the national implementation task force that drafted the Title III Transportation Regulations. He continues to work for accessible transportation alternatives in the Inland Northwest and enjoys giving back to the community in many ways. “The long term bang for society’s buck is investing in experiential learning for students, particularly middle school and high school.”
